  	He was mustered in to the army in London, KY on 20 Sep 1864, and died from chronic diarrhea in a Nashville, TN hospital on 29 Dec 1864, after only 3 months of duty. During this time his Regiment participated in operations against Hood in northern Georgia and northern Alabama from October 3-26. It then march to the sea on November 10, and participated in the Siege of Savannah on December 10-21. MOORE's participation in these events is unknown.
