"At last here comes little Geo. Slaughter. He was forgotten. This is July 8th 1825. He is 3 feet 9 inches high. He was born Oct. 1st 1809 and that makes him just 15 years 23 days old and only 3 feet 9 inches high. That is a pity. G. S. Slaughter."
