  Although I have not yet traced James back to Virginia, I believe he may be related to John C. MOORE (1795-1864) who was born in Montgomery County, VA. John and his wife, Jane MUNCY, had seven children from 1816 through 1830 before moving to Whitley County, KY in 1831.
