Notes:
1797 - Christian County was formed from Logan County, Kentucky, USA. The county seat was informaly known as Christian Court House.

1799 - Henderson County and Livingston County were both formed from portions of Christian County. Muhlenberg County formed from portions of Christian County and Logan County.

1800 - Muhlenberg County received land from Christian County.

1804 - The county seat of Christian County was incorporated as Hopkinsville.

1819 - Caldwell County received land from Christian County.

1820 - Todd County formed from portions of Christian County and Logan County. Trigg County formed from Christian County and Caldwell County. Hopkins County received land from Christian County, creating Christian County's present day boundries.
