1834 - Harrison County received land from Bracken County.

1844 - Bracken County received land from Nicholas County.

1867 - Robertson County received land from Bracken County, Nicholas County and Mason County.

1882 - Pendleton County received land from Bracken County, creating Bracken County's present day boundries.
