This was adjacent to land his brother, Nathaniel DAY Jr., had surveyed, 300 acres in 1769 and an additional 100 acres in 1774. In 1778 this area became Greenbriar County, VA. Later in 1863 Greenbriar County was included in the new state of West Virginia. This location was probably in the vicinity of present day Lewisburg, West Virginia.
