  • Notes  Married:
    • "Clarke's first wife died before we [Ray and Iva Russell] were married [before 1929]. We all had to build fires in our stoves with coal oil on the kindling. When she poured the coal oil in, the stove exploded and she burned up. They had one son, Melvin, but I think he is gone too."
